Canvas

Collect original pieces through the live auction or take home an accessible limited edition.

The Inaugural Edition
Canvas & Cuisine brings Black art, regional soul food, and collective giving into one unforgettable night — created to fund youth scholarships and honor the people who move culture forward.
This is more than a dinner. More than an exhibition. More than an auction.
Canvas & Cuisine is a meeting place for artists, chefs, collectors, neighbors, and future-makers. Original work fills the walls. Generational recipes shape the table. Every ticket, bid, print, partnership, and pledge helps open another door.

Come experience the culture.
Help fund what comes next.
The Experience

A juried presentation of original work by local and regional Black artists, shaped around one shared cultural theme.
Collect original pieces through the live auction or take home an accessible limited edition.

A progressive tasting experience led by chefs interpreting the memory, migration, technique, and future of soul food.
Each plate carries a story. Each station introduces the person behind it.

The evening culminates in a live scholarship pledge supporting young people pursuing education, craft, entrepreneurship, and creative possibility.
The celebration ends. The impact continues.

The Culture Makers
The inaugural roster will bring together artists and chefs whose work is rooted in place, memory, experimentation, and Black cultural expression.
They are not entertainment surrounding the event. They are the event.
